Reduce Fan Noise and Protect your Drive.
You can download and run the uninstall script, you will be required to enter your administrator password.
After deleting these files, or running the uninstall script you will want to power down your iMac completely and restart it to remove any remaining HDD Fan Control settings.
Or to manually uninstall follow these instructions:
Run this command in Terminal to stop HDD Fan Control, You will be prompted for the Administrator’s password.
sudo launchctl unload /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.surteesstudios.hddfancontroldaemon.plist
Remove the following files and folders (all on your startup disk):
You will be prompted for the Administrator’s password when deleting these item’s.

If you are runinng an older version of HDD Fan Control (before 2.5) and wish to removethe files manually you will have to remove the following files and folders (all on your startup disk):

If you are told any of the files are in use you need to quit “HDDFanControlDaemon” and “HDD Fan Control Monitor” from Activity Monitor under “All Processes”
